Tamanegido is an online bookstore specializing in diary books, ZINEs, and small press publications. We believe that words documenting someone's everyday life carry a power that no fiction can match. We deliver small yet passionate books that you'd never find at a major bookstore, straight to your doorstep.

About the Owner

I'm Hisayuki Hisamatsu (@hisasann), the owner of Tamanegido.

For now, all our books are delivered online. While dreaming of one day opening a small physical shop, I'm building the shelves one book at a time.

Diaries, essays, ZINEs, picture books, skateboard magazines, books about bookstores, and titles from Natsuha Publishing. The genres are all over the place, but every book here holds someone's everyday life and way of seeing the world.

These are the kinds of books you won't find on the shelves of a major bookstore — but pick one up, and something will stay with you. That's the kind of encounter I hope to deliver from here.
